We are in the middle of the process to redesign and restructure an existing office space and giving it a new use.
Now in the times of COVID some companies do not need all the space they are renting so its time to rethink and recreate a new purpose and use for the space to stay efficient.
In this case our client is renting on a regular base a film studio to shoot image movies. Why not use the money to establish an in house studio which at the end is more efficient?! Said that - done that!
On top we gave the entire space a facelift and created a casual place for the employers to meet and to socialize when they are in the office. Since we have created a new color theme to give the entire space a more homy feeling, we had to create a new idea to integrate the existing carpet.
The strong connection of the client to art and a friendship to a fabulous painter rothmann.info made it easy to convince the client to use the flooring as a canvas and create something new.

The orange base color of the carpet was difficult to work with, since the structure of the carpet was absorbing the coloring like crazy. The new color theme and the wavy wall acted as a referee and inspired the artist to create a kind of spindrift.
